ROMAN STEPPED THEATER AND BIBLICAL LIFE ARTIFACTS GALLERY

The picture at top, right, shows the concrete forms, towering 20 feet in preparation for pouring concrete.  If you look closely to the right, you will notice that in the wall there are "pockets" which will receive steel beams in the next few weeks.  Once the concrete is completed and the steel beams are erected, the interior of the Artifacts Gallery will be enclosed and work will begin on preparing it to receive a collection from the Israel Antiquity Authority.

While the interior of the Artifacts Gallery is being completed, above it construction will continue on the upper eight rows of the Roman Stepped Theater.  In the picture to the right, please notice the forms in the upper left and middle right of the photograph. Once the beams are in place (see paragraph above), construction will continue on the upper rows of the theater.  Once completed, the Roman Theater will seat 350 people for a variety of special events on the stage.
